Notice / Personal information
Privacy Notice
This notice describes the information a WordPress and WooCommerce version of NursesOnly may use, why it is needed, and the choices available to visitors.
Notice at collection
NursesOnly may use account identifiers, order records, ID.me verification status, and device-local preferences to authenticate adults, provide account features, complete orders, prevent misuse, and operate the site. The theme itself is not configured to sell personal information or use it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
1. Information used by the site
- Account information: information submitted through WordPress, WooCommerce, or another account plugin.
- Verification metadata: a verified/not-verified policy result, verification time, session expiration, and a one-way keyed hash of the ID.me identifier when ID.me returns one. NursesOnly does not retain the OAuth access token or raw ID.me attribute response.
- Order information: ordered items, prices, payment status, fulfillment status, and purchase date when commerce is enabled.
- Device-local information: the entrance acknowledgment stored in your browser.
- Technical information: ordinary hosting, cookie, security, and request information used to deliver and protect the site.
2. Identity verification
NursesOnly redirects protected-access requests to ID.me. ID.me collects and processes the information required by the selected verification policy under its own privacy notice and returns the eligibility result through a secure server-to-server exchange. NursesOnly does not collect or store government ID images. A short-lived, secure, HTTP-only cookie connects your browser to the server-side verification record.
3. How information is used
Information may be used to authenticate users, confirm adult eligibility, provide account and order history, deliver purchases, enforce site rules, respond to requests, maintain security, prevent fraud, and comply with legal obligations. Verification information should not be used to make credit, employment, housing, insurance, medical, or law-enforcement decisions.
4. Service providers
The WordPress installation may rely on GoDaddy for hosting and domain services, WooCommerce for commerce features, ID.me for identity or age eligibility verification, a payment processor selected by the site operator, and configured email and analytics services. Each connected provider processes information under its own terms and privacy practices. The final provider list must be reviewed after plugins and integrations are configured.
5. Cookies and local storage
The entrance acknowledgment is stored locally in your browser. ID.me verification uses short-lived, secure, HTTP-only transaction and access cookies. WordPress, WooCommerce, security plugins, payment providers, and analytics tools may set additional cookies when enabled. The site operator should configure a consent tool where required by applicable law and document active cookies before launch.
6. Retention
Browser preferences remain on your device until you clear them. The local ID.me access record expires automatically, normally within 12 hours. Account and order records are retained while reasonably necessary to provide the account, document transactions, protect the service, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. Connected providers control their own retention and deletion processes.
7. Your privacy choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, or information about the use of your personal information. Submit requests to contact@nursesonly.net. The operator may need to verify a request before acting on it.
8. Adults-only service
NursesOnly is not directed to children and does not permit anyone under 18 to create an account. If you believe a minor has provided information to the service, contact NursesOnly so the report can be reviewed.
9. Security, updates, and contact
Reasonable administrative and technical safeguards should be enabled in WordPress and through the host, but no online service can guarantee absolute security. This notice should be updated whenever the site’s plugins, providers, or data practices change.
